Abstract notifications will be sent out latest June 15.


Submission of the abstract is to be made directly into the system, it’s not possible to upload a PDF or Word-file. The maximum length of the abstract is 1500 characters and you can add 1 image in one of the following formats; GIF, JPG or PNG. The image should be at least 700 pixels wide and no larger than 5MB.




Poster measurements: each poster can be maximum 90cm wide and 120cm tall (portrait layout). The materials required for mounting posters will be provided.


Each demo station consists of a table, chairs, poster board, electrical supply, and internet access via broadband LAN.

Investigator presentation

The Program committee will select investigator presentations from submitted abstracts with priority given to abstracts within any of the congress themes listed below:

  • Developing data-driven models of synapses and neurons
  • Brain imaging standards and best practices
  • Standardization in multiscale modeling – connecting the levels
  • Can we harmonize metadata
  • Computational infrastructure for neuroscience: automation / pipelines
  • Machine learning in neuroscience
  • Building a framework for understanding circuit function
  • Reproducible neuroscience + open science
